Sick Of It All is praised and received jubilant critics by every hardcore aficionado. The American band was founded in the eighties by the brothers Lou and Pete Koller and has reached an immortal status via brief, compact hardcore songs with critical lyrics about society, politics, social injustice and life in the streets of New York. In 2006 Sick Of It All signed a deal with Century Media and they released the album ‘Death To Tyrants’. However this tribute album includes versions of Sick Of It All songs executed by unknown and well-known bands. Between these famous bands we find among others Sepultura who give their interpretation of ‘Scratch The Surface’. This track does not differ that much from the original, but there are songs that are changed quite a lot. Other established bands on this tribute are Ignite, Hatebreed, Madball, Pennywise and the death metal bulldozers of Napalm Death. An interesting album for the fans of hardcore and you can hear it is made with dedication.
