Sick Of It All wordt op handen gedragen door elke hardcore liefhebber. De Amerikaanse band werd in de jaren tachtig opgericht door de broers Lou en Pete Koller en heeft zich in twintig jaar tijd onsterfelijk gemaakt door gebalde hardcore nummers met kritische teksten over de maatschappij, politiek, sociale onrechtvaardigheid en het leven in de straten van New York. In 2006 tekende Sick Of It All een contract met Century Media en bracht het album ‘Death To Tyrants’ uit. Dit tribuutalbum echter, bevat versies van Sick Of It All nummers door onbekende en bekende groepen. Tussen deze befaamde bands vinden we o.a. Sepultura die aan ‘Scratch The Surface’ hun interpretatie geven. Deze track wijkt niet zozeer af van het originele, maar er zijn er waar wel degelijk wat aan veranderd is. Andere bekende bands zijn Ignite, Hatebreed, Madball, Pennywise en de death metal bulldozers van Napalm Death. Een interessant album voor de hardcore liefhebbers en merkbaar met liefde gemaakt.
