SECRET OF DARKNESS: (In)Humanity

Founded in 2005, Secret Of Darkness played its first shows as instrumental band. With the recruiting of vocalist Vojta things have changed. ‘(In)Humanity’ will be distributed in all areas of Europe for the first time in their existence and it includes a proper blend of melodic dark metal with any tendencies towards a heavier black/death approach.
The band surely does a great job on that level and songs like ‘Destroyed Illusions’ (slackening down the pace after two bombardments) and ‘Self Insurrection’ may be recommended to have a first listen with this seminal band. They have toured with bands like Hollenthon and Fleshgod Apocalypse and we support this band on their way to international recognition. Great album!

Opgericht in 2005 speelde Secret Of Darkness zijn eerste shows als instrumentale band. Met de komst van zanger Vojta keerde het tij. ‘(In)Humanity’ wordt als eerste album in Europa verdeeld en bevat een aannemelijke mix van melodieuze dark metal en heftigere black/death metal.
Daar presteert de band zeker niet slecht in en songs als ‘Destroyed Illusions’ (waarbij men na twee granaten even trager gaat) en ‘Self Insurrection’ mogen als aanraders gelden om te beluisteren. Met Hollenthon en Fleshgod Apocalypse werd al getourd en wij geven deze band een hart onder de riem voor internationaal succes. Puik album!
