Elyose is a French metal band that was founded by classical singer Justine Daaé and bass player Ghislain Henry. The classical training of Justine guarantees a strong musical foundation and one can hear that from the first tones of their second full album. Justine sings with a high, crystal clear voice without sounding irritant. She has total control over her voice and sings the strong melodies with conviction over the firm metal arrangements of the wall of speakers behind her.
The songs are imaginative and the band is a full blast metal machine. Justine sings in French and that works beautifully. This is a perfect match between a classically trained female vocalist and a rock hard metal band with some electronic leanings. The band toured already with Therion and Tarja and that should be a proof of quality. These acts do not tour with mediocre bands as a support!

Elyose is een Franse metal band die werd opgericht door de klassieke geschoolde Justine Daaé en bassist Ghislain Henry. De klassieke achtergrond van Justine zorgt voor een sterk muzikaal fundament en dat hoor je vanaf de eerste tonen van hun tweede full album. Justine zingt met een hoge en kristalheldere stem die nergens irriteert. Ze heeft totale controle over haar stem en zingt de sterke melodieën met overtuiging tegen de achtergrond van ferme metal arrangementen. D
De songs getuigen van verbeelding en de band is een volle gas metal machine. Justine zingt in het Frans en dat werkt perfect. Dit is een geslaagd huwelijk tussen een geschoolde zangeres en een beenharde metalband die af en toe flirt met elektronica. Elyose toerde al met Therion en Tarja en dat is een bevestiging van hun kwaliteiten. Deze acts toeren namelijk niet met middelmatige bands als support.
