FLUISTERAARS: Gelderland (single)

Following on the well-received sophomore album ’Luwte’, the Dutch black metal band Fluisteraars has chosen to release a 7†single (also available in digital shape), titled after the region they hail from ‘Gelderland’.
Both songs, ‘Zijsselt’ and ‘Stuk’, are unusual compact for Fluisteraars: each of them not even five minutes length. They go back to the early days and roots of the band and thus we hear Fluisteraars in its most furious and intense form, although every song includes a break with softer and slower approach, so that we can speak of interesting constructions. Black metal fury!

Na het welgesmaakte tweede album ’Luwte’ heeft de Nederlandse black metal band Fluisteraars gekozen voor het uitbrengen van een 7†single (ook digitaal verkrijgbaar), genoemd naar de streek waar zij vandaan komen: ‘Gelderland’.
Beide songs, ‘Zijsselt’ en ‘Stuk’, zijn ongebruikelijk kort voor Fluisteraars’ doen: nog geen vijf minuten. Men gaat hier terug naar de beginperiode van de band en we horen Fluisteraars dan ook in een meest furieuze en intense vorm, al bevat elke song een break met zachtere en tragere aanpak, zodat we van interessante constructies kunnen spreken. Black metal furie!
