English:

After their debut ‘Sex First’ (2014) and the EP ‘Never Say Never’ last year these Italians bring us ‘One Last Ride’ with a musical mix described as a blend of eighties sleaze rock, hard rock and AOR.

After the nice intro ‘Day Zero’ follows ‘Loaded Gun’ with a fine helping of catchy HR/AOR. A sharp guitar solo starts ‘Freak’ reminding of Bon Jovi. ‘Game Over Fame’, check the video, is harder, rougher, catchier with fine solo, after which ‘Lights’ brings a slow, bluesy intermezzo with good vocals by Albert Fish, by the way. ‘Never Say Never’ is an up-tempo slice of sleaze metal and ‘The Maze’ is even faster. ‘Plan B’ delivers hard rock with a sleazy edge, as does ‘Not Today’ as well. ‘Born This Way’ is more temperate, more AOR, but a catchy closer – including another great solo – of this platter.

This album is more varied than their first and shows they found a style of their own.

Nederlands:

‘Never Say Never’ is uptempo brok sleaze metal en ‘The Maze’ gaat nog sneller.
