If you're looking for a refreshing Melodic Hard Rock album, This is one… With members of different European bands (Cry Havoc (Paul Logue), Steve Grimmet Band (Pete Newdeck), Demon Drive/Attack (Thorsten Koehne) and Rough Silk/Axel Rudi Pell (Ferdy Doernberg) together with singer Michael Eden) Eden's Curse comes as a nice surprise. Is this a normal band or a project - Who can tell? Anyway, one thing’s for shore… it’s wonderful music! The guys have spent countless hours working on this band an extended period of time. All the songs of the debut album are hyper catchy, varied with fast complex songs, ballads and some hits. I don't know why, but there is something more on this release. The band produces an ass kicking album that rocks completely and has something to offer to everyone. The album features twelve good melodic Rock songs with countless leads, dual solos, harmonic parts and an overall ‘Eden’s Curse’ feeling. The songwriting is first-class (with a little help from Domain/Evidence One man Carsten Schulz) and fits like the final piece of a jigsaw. The production of the album is perfect and produced by Dennis Ward of Pink Cream 69, so you know what to expect in general. No doubt that their first album "Eden's Curse" - from start to finish is pure quality and will become a must in this musical category. Michael Eden is perfect in his role as a singer! His voice is charismatic and has a lot of energy . The guy’s high-pitched voice is crystal clear and sweet as candy! Michael's tone gives these songs an even more melodic and accessible quality. But at the same time, he can growl and scream too. Also Thorsten Koehne is just an incredible guitarist who is able to play some amazing guitars solo’s. The international line-up helps to create a dynamic sound that should appeal to American and European fans alike and the mix of power and melody should appeal across the board to anyone that owns albums of bands like Bonfire, Dokken, Pink Cream 69, Pretty Maids, Fair Warning, Evidence One, Jaded Heart, Axel Rudi Pell, Gotthard, Steelheart and even Allen/Lande. If you're a fan of classy (technical) Melodic Hard rock, don't miss the first album of Eden's Curse, it's a must.

Voor wie op zoek is naar een fris en vernieuwend album, hier is er één…. Met leden uit verschillende Europese groepen (Cry Havoc (Paul Logue), Steve Grimmet Band (Pete Newdeck), Demon Drive/Attack (Thorsten Koehne) and Rough Silk/Axel Rudi Pell (Ferdy Doernberg) samen met zanger Michael Eden) is Eden’s Curse een verrasing op zich. Gaat het hier om een normale band of een project – Wie zal het zeggen? Eén ding is wel zeker… Het is prachtige muziek! Deze jongens hebben over een hele periode uren gesleten werkend aan deze bezetting en nummers. Alle nummers van dit debuut zijn hoogst pakkend, gevarieerd met snelle complexe nummers, ballades maar ook hits. Vraag me niet waarom maar dit album heeft meer dan anderen. De groep slaagt erin om een onder de reet stampende plaat neer te poten die compleet rockt en voor ieder wat te bieden heeft. Twaalf goede melodische rock songs met ontelbaar (dubbel) soleerwerk, harmonieën en vooral een ‘Eden’s Curse’ gevoel. De plaat staat bol van eerste klas composities (hierbij bijgestaan door Carsten Schultz van o.a Domain/Evidence One) en past als een puzzel in elkaar. De productie van deze release is perfect en werd verzorgd oor niemand minder dan Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69), je weet dus meteen ook wat je kunt verwachten van deze plaat. Geen twijfel dus dat dit eerste “Eden’s Curse†debuut – van begin tot einde – van hoge kwaliteit is en niet te missen CD is voor je platenkast. Michael Eden is de perfecte man voor de vocale rol in het geheel. Zijn charismatische geluid is krachtig met een pak aan energie. Zijn hoge geaarde stem klinkt kristalzuiver en is zo zoet als een ganse snoepwinkel. Michael’s toon geeft de nummers een nog hoger melodisch gevoel en toegankelijkheid maar tegelijk kan de man ook grollen en schreeuwen. Ook Thorsten Koehne is een ongelooflijk gitaarvirtuoos die de meest verbazende solo’s uit zijn snarenplank weet te toveren. DE internationale bezetting van de groep maakt het mogelijk om een dynamisch geluid te creëren dat zowel Amerikaanse als Europese fans aanspreekt en de mix van kracht en melodie is vergelijkbaar met groepen zoals: Bonfire, Dokken, Pink Cream 69, Pretty Maids, Fair Warning, Evidence One, Jaded Heart, Axel Rudi Pell, Gotthard, Steelheart en zelfs Allen/Lande. Als je liefhebber bent van kwalitatieve (technische) melodische hardrock mag je dit album zeker niet missen.
